XFP and SFP+ (10G Small Form Factor Pluggable) optical modules are the latest
and most powerful fiber optic transceiver modules available the fiber
communications industry. SFP+'s are available for multi-mode and
single-mode fiber connections.
Most used XFP and SFP+ modules are the 10G SR (Short Range) multi-mode module and the 10G LR (Long Range - 10Km) single-mode module.
