XFP, SFP+ (10G Small Form Factor Pluggable) and XENPAK optical modules are the latest
and most powerful fiber optic transceiver modules available the fiber
communications industry. The 10G transceivers, depending on the interface type, are available for multi-mode,
single-mode and single-mode long haul fiber connections.
Most used XFP, SFP+ and XENPAK modules are the 10G SR (Short Range) multi-mode module and the 10G LR (Long Range - 10Km) single-mode module.
