ROC3 Optical Platform

ROC3 Optical Transport Platform is a multi-purpose, universal platform facilitating optical transport over fiber circuits for a large number of interfaces.

Platform facilitates O-E-O (optical-electrical-optical) 3R optical signal processing (Re-generation, Re-shaping and Re-timing), in order to allow long haul optical communications, as well as optical cross connect and redundancy of fiber circuits. 3R transponders for 100G, 25G, 10G, 2.5G or 1G data rates are available, as well as optical amplification (EDFA) cards and dispersion compensation modules, multiplexing (DWDM/CWDM) cards, including AAWG filters, switching (1:1 protection or input path selection) and testing of complex optical networks.

ROC3 platform is centered on the main chassis (1RU, 2RU or 4RU), all controlled by same powerful NMC card supporting latest security features, including SSL, SSH, TACACS, SNMPv3 and many other.  Chassis provide high density of channels: using the 2x 100G channels transponder card, up to eight 100G optical channels can be 3R processed in a single 1RU of space.
