Product description
The ROC3-CH16 is the most powerful managed optical platform for optical transport of interfaces running up to 100G speed. Higher speed transponders are also in development. The ROC3 platform has 3 different chassis for 1RU, 2RU or 4RU of 19" rack space. The ROC3-CH16 chassis occupies 4RU of space and offers 16 slots for ROC3 compatible cards. Each of the 3 chassis has power redundancy and each can take the same ROC3-NMC management card. Among the optical cards available for ROC3 platform we can find transponders for 100G, 25G, 10G and lower speeds, like ROC3-100G-3R, CWDM and DWDM mux demux cards going as far as 40 channels in an AAWG configuration (ROC3-DWDM-AAWG) or ROC3-OLPS35 1:1 optical protection cards. Many other function cards, such as EDFA amplifiers, DCM compensation modules, Optical Switches, Variable Attenuators or FWDM cards are available for the ROC3 chassis. Platform is dimensioned for 19" rack mounting and has 23" rack adapting brackets available on demand. ROC3 Chassis is a perfect choice for high density managed optical transport solutions, providing up to 16x 100G channels conversion.

The chassis provides redundant power supply system with "hot swap" feature, to provide continuous smooth operation of the units installed. By default, DC48V power supplies are included, but the power configuration can be changed for AC support as well. ROC3 chassis can accommodate both AC (90-240V) and DC (36-72V) power supply units, either in mixed or same type of power input.
