SFP-1040-Dxx SFP+ 10G DWDM optical transceiver 40Km, Cisco ready

The SFP-1040-Dxx is a DWDM 10G SFP+ optical module. It is available for all 45 DWDM 100GHz ITU grid wavelength channels. Transceiver supports all 10G rated speeds for Ethernet, SONET, SDH or Fibre Channel networks.
SFP-1040-Dxx is the general Part Number, the xx representing a combination of two digits that define the wavelength used. For instance, the SFP-1040-D17 is a DWDM SFP+ transceiver for ITU channel 17 which is running 1563.86nm wavelength.

There are also available DWDM 10G transceivers for ITU 50GHz and 200GHz grids. Such modules are not common and only available on special order. Please contact us to inquire on the availability of such models.
Tested and found compatible on various 10G Ethernet switches from Cisco, Juniper, Force10, Edge-Core and other manufacturers.
