Managed transponders are a crucial part of CWDM and DWDM applications. FRM220 series platform is based on in-band and 802.3ah management, providing web-based, SNMP, telnet and console access on all media converter and transponders hosted. Some units also support special OAM 803.2ah management features, making them a perfect choice for service providers and telcos. 100G, 40G, 16G and 10G transponder cards as well as the mux/demux cards for CWDM and DWDM wavelengths are adding a new dimension to the series. The FRM220 line of transponders has a solution for almost any need. Selection includes 100G Ethernet, 40G and 10G Ethernet and SONET OC-192/ STM-64 transponder cards, accepting a wide selection of XFP and SFP+, QSFP+ or QSFP28 optical transceivers.
