RB-4804M-PSE switch has L3 network management functions, supporting IPV4 static route forwarding, together with a complete security protection mechanism. Switch supports ACL/QoS policies and rich VLAN functions, being easy to manage and maintain. It also supports multiple network redundancy protocols such as STP/RSTP/MSTP (<50ms) and ERPS ring network (convergence time<20ms), improving link backup and network reliability and ensuring uninterrupted data transport for critical applications.

Switch offers efficient routing address management, port management, port flow control, VLANs, IGMP, security policies and other service configurations. Management can be performed through Web, CLI, SNMP, Telnet and other network management methods. Casing is made of steel alloy, with excellent EMI and mechanical and thermal resistance, allowing low power consumption and a fanless design. Model is suitable for SMB and entry level Enterprise networks for it’s reliability, power efficiency overall affordable costs.

PoE Features
The RB-4804M-PSE can provide up to 90 Watts of power per port for Ports#1 and #2 and up to 30W of PoE power/port for all other ports #3 to #48, for any PD equipment such as VoIP phones, wireless access points, surveillance cameras etc, all over existing Cat. 5 cables. The total PoE power budget is a huge 600W. This is a healthy amount of PoE power budget, allowing true use of all the 48 RJ45 ports available to power up devices. Switch also offers 6kV surge protection on all TP ports. The switch eliminates the need for individual power sources for devices in the network, saving on costs for power cables and avoiding power outlet availability issues.

Fiber Optic Connectivity
The RB-4804M-PSE's design allows connectivity at Gigabit speed over fiber optic networks thanks to the four additional SFP slots running 100/1000Base-X SFPs. Unit comes with a 19" rack mounting installation kit INCLUDED in the package.
