Product description

MPO connector based cables are high density solution for fiber optic cable deployments. They aggregate commonly 12 strands of fiber in a single small form connector, being used in data centers and telecom centers to minimize space used for fiber optic interconnection. MPO cables are used either with Optical Transceivers or in patch panels and cassette distribution boxes.
The most common MPO cables have "B polarity" meaning that fibers are crossed over between ends from Pin1 all the way to Pin12 in a linear manner: Pin1 to Pin12, Pin 2 to Pin 11, Pin 3 to Pin 10 all the way to Pin 12 to Pin1. Also, most MPO cables are female type, facilitating connectivity between transceivers and panels or cassettes.
The RBMPO-F12-OM3-GFF-C1-2M-PB cable has Elite grade MPO connectors, which are an improved MPO version with very low IL compared to standard MPO connectors. The OM3 cable is optimized for 10G/40G connectivity.
