The FRM220 series is the newest collection of fiber media converters available from Datainterfaces.com. FRM220-CH01AA is a single slot chassis for FRM220 compatible media converters. The casing has two integrated AC 90-240V power supplies and comes with two standard IEC 3 pin power cords. Such a casing eliminates the separate AC adapter offered as default on all standalone FRM220 series fiber media converters and also adds the reliablility of redundant power supplies. This product is optional and intended for high end applications requesting a single package unit (embedded power supply) with no separate power adapter and redundancy for the power supplies.
Among the optional integrated power casings, there are also the FRM220-CH01DC and FRM220-CH01AD single slot chassis. FRM220-CH01DC has an embedded DC18~72V power input, ideal for telecom environment, while FRM220-CH01AD has dual redundant AC 90~240V and DC 18~72V power supplies available in same single slot casing.
