Description
Product description
CTC Union Technologies unveiled the brand new 10G CPE switch, GSW-3100C, which supports multigigabit technology for active Ethernet based FTTH applications. This new 10G CPE switch is designed with 4 RJ45 ports 10M/100M/1G/2.5Gbps and 1 port 10M/100M/1G/2.5G/5G/10Gbps RJ45 as well as 1 port 1G/10Gbps SFP+ slot for fiber optic connectivity. The GSW-3100C employs the same successful cable tray design, making installation process easier and protecting the excess fiber within the unit.
GSW-3100C new CPE leverages the strength of its chipset provider, which is a member of NBASE-T alliance, by enabling a multigigabit speed feature. Enterprise or residential users will be able to experience reliable and secure Ethernet high speed network access and also connect existing Cat5e/Cat6 cabling infrastructure with IEEE 802.11ac wave 2 or WiFi 6 devices, breaking through the limitation of 1Gbps data rate for content richer applications such as Cloud storage, 4K video streaming or HD/UHD teleconferencing.
CTC Union Technologies has adopted the new generation SoC single chip inside the GSW-3100C. Chipset is developed through highly circuit integration and manufactured using advanced wafer process. Therefore, GSW-3100C benefits of a low power consumption and cost-effective finished product adopting this SoC solution compared with the previous generation product which was the combination of multiple chips. However, The GSW-3100C continues supporting most popular Layer 2 feature sets with network management interfaces such as Web GUI and SNMP. The GSW-3100C also supports ZTP (Zero Touch Provisioning) function which is suitable for very large-scale deployments from operators or service providers. These device management features can avoid truck rolls and save OPEX for FTTH service providers.
