Product description
The FC-1001-PSE is a Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000Base-T to 100/1000Base-X non-managed stand-alone media converter, equipped with DIP switches for configuration options. The SFP slot allows both Gigabit and Fast Ethernet operation and can take any type of SFP: multi-mode, single-mode, CWDM or DWDM as well as BiDi which allows bi-directional transmissions using only a single fiber strand cable. DIP switches allow settings of fiber port speed, LFP function or transparent or switching converter operating modes. LED indicators signal the power status, UTP and FX ports speed and Link status of each port.

The FC-1001-PSE Gigabit Ethernet is an extremely versatile optical fiber media converter for 10/100/1000Base-T copper to 100/1000Base-X (Fast/Gigabit) SFP slot. Any 1000Base-SX/LX/LHX/ZX or WDM/CWDM SFP transceiver as well as 155M Fast Ethernet SFP can be installed in the media converter. Unit has a built-in AC power supply and comes with a direct C14 AC power cord. The FC-1001-PSE Gigabit fiber media converter is equipped with a PoE+ injector compatible with 802.3af/at Power over Ethernet standards that allows connection of any PoE device such as IP phones or IP surveillance cameras, eliminating the need of remote powering or additional cabling.
