Description
The RB-AUDIO02-SFP is a two channel XLR balanced audio ports extender over fiber optic. Set contains both Transmitter and Receiver units and supports one way broadcast quality audio signal. For fiber transport set requires only one single strand of fiber, which can be either singlemode or multimode type. Transmitter unit has two XLR female input audio and Receiver unit has two XLR audio male output connectors for each audio channel. The fiber optic system uses a 16bit digitally encoded mechanism that ensures highest broadcast quality for the audio signal. Frequency spectrum is 10Hz to 20kHz, providing high fidelity quality to the audio transport.
The RB-AUDIO02-SFP set is using common Gigabit speed (1.25G) BiDi SFP transceivers. Set INCLUDES the SFPs, which can operate over a single strand of fiber, either SM type up to 20Km or MM type up to 1Km reach. AC adapters with wide 85-240V AC input and stable DC 12V/1A output are included for both transmitter and receiver units from the set.

The SFP transceivers can be changed for different fiber operation: for example, Gigabit CWDM or DWDM optics can be used instead to achieve transport of audio channels over a more complex CWDM or DWDM fiber application.
