The INJ-IG03-PH is an active IEEE 802.3af/at PoE converter to passive PoE. Such instrument is crucial to integrate non-IEEE compatible PoE devices. These passive PoE devices do not follow the IEEE 802.3af/at standards and they cannot be turned on with regular "active" PoE PSE equipment. The INJ-IG03-PH takes the standard IEEE 802.3af/at and converts it into a 12/19/24Vdc 30W direct power output that is suitable for passive types PoE equipment. There are many makers of passive PoE equipment, worth mentioning among them Ubiquiti equipment. Some consideration for passive PoE is a lower voltage requirement compared to IEEE standard, that is better suited in commercial deployments.

The INJ-IG03-PH is Plug and play, easy to use, with no tools required, offering high reliability, and being suitable for deploying non-standard PoE devices, such as entry level PoE cameras or wireless APs, as well as devices that require direct power supply through Ethernet but no protocol negotiation.
