Up to 63 T1/E1 capacity
The SDH01A is our first STM-1 SDH fiber
multiplexer. The unit is able to offer a true cross-connect platform
between all 63E1 channels of an STM-1 connection. Two main chassis are
available:
- the SDH01A ADM - with two fiber ports for ring insertion (East and West) and
- the SDH01A TM - single fiber port useful in Terminal nodes or for Point-to-Point* fiber connections only.
*
- particularly for the Point-to-Point applications a special 8T1 or 8E1 module
is available for 32 T1 (E1) capacity over a single pair of fibers. If ADM model is used units can be installed in a chain configuration for a total transport capacity of 63 T1 (or E1)interfaces between two locations. Ring configurations can be built with several Add/Drop nodes and fiber redundancy protection.

SDH01A-ADM is an SDH based, STM-1 Fiber Add-Drop Multiplexer with a total bandwidth capacity of 155Mbps (63E1). The Add-Drop Fiber Multiplexer provides a full Cross-Connect platform for the 63 E1 channels. An 8T1 card is available for T1 transport.

The Terminal Fiber Multiplexer provides a full Cross-Connect platform for the 63 E1 channels and also special support for T1 for point-to-point applications only. A 4-slot modular structure allows up to 32 E1 or T1 interfaces to be used in a single unit.

DS3 / E3 module for the SDH01 fiber optic multiplexer is one of the most demanded interface modules. T1, E1, Fast Ethernet full rate and V.35 interfaces can be as well added to the SDH01 multiplexer. Point2point or ring fiber configurations are available.

SDH01-OPT is an optical fiber module for SDH01 multiplexer. Choices for fiber module are single-mode operation 30, 50 and 120Km and single-strand BiDi 60Km versions. Optical data rate is STM-1 (155Mbps).
