FRM401-10/100 quad port fiber converter card, SNMP support

FRM401 cards are the core of the high density FRM401 business solution. Each FRM401 card has four Fast Ethernet media converters. All media converters on one card are the same type, but you can mix several types of cards into a single FRM401 chassis. All cards support SNMP management and the whole range of features available on the standalone FIB1 series, like: Link-loss forwarding, loop back testing, get remote status and adjustable frame length to support VLAN and QOS transmissions.

The cards are available with any of the SC, ST or FC optical connectors. For single mode 1310nm operation optical modules cover distances between 15 and 120Km (9.3 to 75mi). WDM single strand fiber optic is also available for 20Km, 40Km, 60Km and 80Km. When choosing WDM technology, please make sure there are always both different types (A and B) at each end of the dark fiber strand. WDM technology works in a complementary way. Two WDM optical modules of same type cannot connect to each other.

Note:  On special request of customer, based on manufacturer confirmation, the FRM401 quad port converter card can be provided with any fiber transceiver operating distance up to 120Km or BiDirectional single strand (WDM) optical transceivers up to 80Km.
