Product description
The 4 port POTS module is one of the new interfaces supported on FMUX01APLUS. The FXS module accepts four copper RJ11 phone lines and supports Caller ID and all type of traffic: voice, fax, dial-up. The PSTN lines are bundled together with other data modules over fiber. The POTS lines have all features provided by normal copper connections. Up to 16 POTS lines that can be aggregated over one fiber circuit using the FMUX01APLUS solution.

Note: To extend POTS phone lines over fiber, both FXO and FXS modules are needed. The FXO module accepts PBX trunk lines and the FXS module connects phone terminal devices (handsets, answering machines, fax machines, modems, etc.)
