The FIB1-1000ES-SM80 Gigabit Ethernet is a singlemode, long-haul 1550nm DFB laser powered fiber media converter for 10/100/1000Base-T to 1000Base-ZX conversion that provides NMS functions for Link-Loss-Forwarding, Remote-Monitoring-Status, and Loop-Back-Test. These optional features are especially useful when the standalone units are linked to one of our rack type units with SNMP management. FIB1-1000ES-SM80 has a Gigabit rate SFP module installed with dual LC connector. The Gigabit copper interface has auto-negotiation and speed selection from 10 to 1000 Mbps.

The uniqueness of FIB1-1000ES-SM80 Gigabit Ethernet series is given by the ability to convert from standalone media converters to cards for FRM301 chassis, in matter of minutes.
