Copper E1, T1 Converters
TDM networks have one big advantage compared with other types of data networks: they provide guaranteed bandwidth and therefore a guaranteed response time. This makes TDM networks crucial in critical time sensitive applications like telephony, banking, monitoring and many other areas. Our converters allow Ethernet and also a variety of serial synchronous and asynchronous interfaces to be sent over T1 or E1 circuits for guaranteed response time of real-time critical applications. We provide Ethernet, V.35, X.21, RS-449, RS-530 and RS-232 interface converters for transport over E1 or T1 and also many configurable devices able to support a variety of such interfaces.
The E1/T1 over Ethernet extenders are using TDM-over-IP technology to transmit/extend TDM based interfaces over the Internet. E1, T1 or even J1 (Japanese standard) can be transmitted over Ethernet and IP based networks using these extenders.

T1 access units offer access to T1 ports for several data interfaces. We have small G703 conversion units and also modular managed access units for V.35, X.21 or Ethernet data access. We also provide a powerful cross-connect unit for E1-T1 conversion.

E1 baluns are passive devices that convert E1 signal between balanced (120ohm RJ48c TP) and unbalanced (75 ohm BNC coax) interface and vice versa.

The G703FT1 access unit allows serial data ports to connect to fractinal T1 (DS1) interfaces. Most common data ports are V.35 and X.21 (RS-530 is default, no cables needed) and there are also cables available on demand for RS-449.
