The Sigma Links 2000/5000 series is an affordable managed platform for
fiber optic transport using a CWDM technology based solution.
SML-50-8012-L card is a dual 1.25G channel transponder card for the CWDM solution. Unit converts client side optic signal (usually 850nm, 1310nm or 1550nm broad optics) into CWDM colored wavelengths (narrow light 1471, 1491, 1511, 1531, 1551, 1571, 1591 or 1611nm colored lambdas) for data rates up to 1.25G (including Gigabit Ethernet).
One
Sigma-Links 2000 chassis can be loaded with a full 8 to 1 CWDM link
solution, including the optical redundancy protection card. Sigma Links
2000 is most used chassis solution for remote nodes in the CWDM
deployments.

Sigma Links CWDM platform is designed for Service Providers, CLECs or
MSOs that wish to increase their fiber capacity and deliver more
bandwith and services over the existing fiber infrastructure. Pricing

The SFS-7040 series CWDM SFP modules have a 1.25Gbps (Gigabit) rate. Transceivers operate on 9/125um single-mode fiber for 40Km, using special CWDM channels (1471 to 1611nm, in steps of 20nm). SFP CWDM modules support DD (Digital Diagnostic) functions.
