CWDM Solutions
CWDM technology is an affordable way to share one pair of
fiber strands and put together various communications interfaces like:
Gigabit Ethernet, OC3/OC12 or OC48, Fibre Channel and E1/T1, just by
using different wavelengths of light for each channel.
Our
product range includes very affordable solutions for CWDM, with minimum
or no management, but also carrier class professional solutions with
complete management and monitoring functions, redundancy on fiber and
power supplies and Telco grade specifications.
CWDM solutions share a single physical fiber optic circuit for several optical connections. The low cost solution is based on an affordable converter/transponder card that can be installed in a chassis, the FIB1-1000DS model.

Fully manageable CWDM SigmaLinks platform for 8+1:1 applications, with power and optical redundancy features. Up to 17 cards can be aggregated in a Sigma Link 5000 managed chassis.

The SFS-7040 series CWDM SFP modules have a 1.25Gbps (Gigabit) rate. Transceivers operate on 9/125um single-mode fiber for 40Km, using special CWDM channels (1471 to 1611nm, in steps of 20nm). SFP CWDM modules support DD (Digital Diagnostic) functions.
