E1 and T1 over Ethernet (TDMoIP)
The E1/T1 over Ethernet extenders are using TDM-over-IP technology to transmit/extend TDM based interfaces over the Internet. E1, T1 or even J1 (Japanese standard) can be transmitted over Ethernet and IP based networks using these extenders. An individual E1/T1/J1 over IP, the IPM-1SE and a quad E1/T1 over IP, the IPM-4SE are available in the TDMoIP family with plans to release also an 8 E1/T1 over IP device in the near future.
