The FIB1-1000ES-W10A Gigabit Ethernet is a single strand Bi-Directional Tx:1310nm/Rx:1550nm fiber media converter for 10/100/1000Base-T to fiber conversion that provides NMS functions for Link-Loss-Forwarding, Remote-Monitoring-Status, and Loop-Back-Test. These optional features are especially useful when the standalone units are linked to one of our rack type units with SNMP management. FIB1-1000ES-W10A uses WDM technology (Wave Division Multiplexing) and has a Gigabit rate SFP module installed with single LC connector. The Gigabit copper interface has auto-negotiation and speed selection from 10 to 1000 Mbps.
An A model must be always matched with a B model when planning to install single-strand Bi-Directional media converters.
